The first factory specializes in the production of heaters and appliances with solar powered kitchen, came into operation in Kukara (Soviet Republic of Uzbaquistão). Within a few months will be ready to inhabit two buildings of apartments, each of three floors, where the heating of water and air conditioning will be ensured by the use of solar energy.
Replacing the fuel by solar energy for heating of houses is now the line of the work of Soviet heliotécnicos.
The two buildings of apartments already constructed in the Soviet city of Tashkent and have a front Tchirtchik curious. They remember a chessboard on which the houses are black and white, respectively, to the windows and the metallic devices that heat the water to about 70 degrees centrígados.
Previously, the heating installations were placed in roofs, but in this case the heat was revitalized only for the consumption of small houses. The new technical solution of Uzbek allows the construction of large buildings "solar" that will allow 60% savings in fuel consumption used in central heating and water.
The kitchens have a solar device composed of six "petals concentrators" silver, which are giant flowers and remember that focus the sun at a point where the receiver of solar energy. With a clear sky, the days with sun, Central Asia, are about 300 per year. These kitchens work as well as powered by electricity. The heliotécnicos are currently under study projects of solar installations for refrigerators, dryers, fruit, wheat, vegetables, crops for animals and greenhouses of silk items of reinforced concrete.
Transform solar energy into electric energy is another of the objectives of the current work of Soviet scientists. They propose to make this conversion with the help of the engine "Stirling." Any source of heat is allowed to operate such a facility, but the source of more rational use is perhaps the sun's rays. They are already prepared draft solar power in that its operation is based on making a circular loop of hydrogen or helium gas, for example, which triggers the engine bender.
Solar energy finds multiple applications in the field of agriculture and livestock. In the deserts of Central Asia has to a mineral water desalination of groundwater, which contributed to further development of livestock breeding in the region. Experiments made in the plantations of cotton showed that irradiation of cotton seeds, before being thrown to the ground, increasing its income from 10 to 15%.
